‘Cycles’ started as a demo I sent to Jack, originally focusing on a piano progression. We sent the song back and transformed it into this lush groove full of vintage synths and funky guitars. I was made aware of Jack's work as a visual artist and as a musician during two separate occasions, having been a fan of his work as Thrupence years ago, it was a great feeling for him to reach out to collaborate. The track title is derived from the cyclical way the song began, a groove based around various looped sections.
